Even though gorgeous model Natasha Crook narrowly missed out on the Miss Universe GB title this month (she was awarded 1st runner up), she did walk away with the highly coveted title – Best Bikini Body 2011.

Sandstorm Boutique the official swimwear sponsors of Miss Universe GB awarded the title to Natasha as they felt she is a fantastic representation of a healthy and natural British beauty.

Natasha who is an experienced fashion model sizzled and smouldered her way through her recent Sandstorm Boutique swimwear photo shoot at Stoke Park, Buckinghamshire.

 Miss Universe GB 2011, Chloe-Beth Morgan from South Wales is sure to heat things up at the Miss Universe finals later this year in Brazil.

The stunning welsh lovely showed she has exactly what it takes to compete on the world’s stage at her official swimwear photo shoot with her swimwear sponsors Sandstorm Boutique. (www.SandstormLuxury.com).

On location at Stoke Park (www.StokePark.com) and in a selection of stunning swimwear from Sandstorm Boutique, Chloe-Beth proved she is a great model as well as being a very successful beauty pageant queen.

Chloe –Beth is 25 years of age, stands 5’7” and she is a petit size 6.

 Having won Miss Wales in 2008, Chloe-Beth then went on to achieve 2nd Runner-up of Miss International 2009 whilst holding the title Miss United Kingdom, she is truly a beauty pageant veteran!

Natasha Crook is a beautiful model from Highbury, London and she has recently won the award of best bikini body at Miss UniverseGB2011 finals. Natasha narrowly lost out to the top spot of Miss Universe GB2011 to Chloe-Beth Morgan but she did instead come away from the competition with the coveted bikini body award as judged by Naomi John CEO and Managing Director of Sandstorm Boutique 

Sandstorm Boutique are for the 2nd year the official swimwear sponsors for the event. This year all the girls were given a narrow choice of specific swimwear to wear during the swimwear round.

"The swimwear round really does show the judges who is able to compete on the world stage at the International Finals. We are delighted to give the award to Natasha. She is a lovely person and she has a great physique". commented Naomi.

Shanna is a young British Muslim woman who just wants to follow her dreams and represent her country at the Miss Universe finals. Never the less she has evoked thought provoking discussions across the world about social and cultural acceptance and integration. 

Sandstorm has created stunning swimwear for the Swimwear round. We have taken into account the cultural diversity of the participating contestants, whilst following the guidelines set by Miss Universe and each contestant has been given the choice of a beautiful bikini or an elegant one-piece (both of which can be worn with simple black sarong). 

We met Shanna and the film crew following her journey to the finals when she came for her swimwear fitting recently.

It is sad that Shanna has experienced some negative response from a minority of people, but thankfully she has gained lots of postive support from people across the globe who believe she has the right to reach for her personal goals.

We hope people remember that Shanna is just a young woman who is hoping to achieve her dream of representing her country at the grand finals in Brazil later this year - just like the other 60 finalists in the Miss Universe GB finals.

  In the exciting build up to the Miss Universe GB finals which is being held 1st May 2011 in Birmingham, it has been announced that Sandstorm Boutique, one of the UK’s premier swim and beach wear companies are to be the swimwear sponsors for 2nd year running. This year the pageant finalists are being treated to gorgeous designer swimwear ‘free of charge’ from Sandstorm Boutique.
The contestants will be wearing designer bikinis and one piece bathing suits specifically created for the event by Sandstorm Boutique. Sandstorm is working with She swimwear on the production of the swimwear and then each piece is being hand embellished with delicate crystals in the UK. The glamorous bikinis and bathing suits are sure to make the 60 finalists sparkle on the stage during the swimwear round.
Naomi John CEO and MD for Sandstorm Boutique is said to be delighted about being invited back to work with Miss Universe GB for the second year. “It is a pleasure to work with the Miss Universe GB team again. Latino Beauty wins Miss Universe GB

The grand final of MISS UNIVERSE Great Britain  saw 36 beautiful young women from England, Scotland and Wales compete for the crown at a glittering ceremony at Birmingham’s ICC on Sunday 2 May 2010.

The winner was Tara Hoyos-Martinez.  Tara who is 20 years old, comes from London and she is currently studying Medicinal and Biological Chemistry at Manchester Metropolitan University.

A number of awards were given on the evening including Best Bikini Body sponsored by Sandstorm Boutique.  This was won by Kathryn Lane from Cardiff. Kathryn has been given swimwear from the luxury online retailer as her prize. A selection of swimwear will also be given to Tara by Sandstorm Boutique for her to take to the Miss Universe pageant.

Other winners on the evening were Reena Patel, who was The People’s Choice, after winning the public vote.

The new Miss Universe GB was also named Miss Charity after generating £2,400 for The Joshua Foundation in the run up to the competition final.

The top five on the evening were Tara Hoyos-Martinez who placed first; Kelly Pesticcio from Cardiff who came second and Kathryn Lane also from Cardiff who came third. The other two contestants who took top five placings were Roopa Kukadia from London and Debbie O’Toole from Liverpool.
