Miss Galaxy & Miss Teen Galaxy UK girls go to the International finals!

The first Miss Galaxy contest in the United Kingdom was launched in 2008 and the competition has grown at an incredible rate - becoming the fastest growing beauty contest in the UK.

For the first three years, two contests were held - Miss Galaxy-UK and Miss Teen Galaxy-UK. However, due to their  popularity and success, UK Galaxy Pageants expanded! In 2011, six separate competitions were held for: Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy England, Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy Wales and Miss & Miss Teen Galaxy Scotland.

All the winners are jetting off to the USA in August to compete in the International Pageants.

Holly Ikin is the UK's director and we at Sandstorm are delighted to be associated with Holly, her team and the lovely contestants.

In 2012 we will be sponsoring the swimwear for Miss Galaxy and Miss Teen Galaxy and we have some fab prizes on offer.  In anticipation of our collaboration with Miss Galaxy Pageants UK in 2012, Sandstorm met up with the 2011 contestants in June and we completed an amazing swimwear shoot with the girls whilst they were having some R & R at Plas Colwyn holiday home in Beddgelert.

It's been a busy week at Sandstorm Boutique!  As the new swimwear sponsors for Miss Galaxy and Miss Teen Galaxy UK 2012 http://www.galaxypageantsuk.com/ we felt it would be a good idea to meet the current winners who are going to represent the UK at the Miss Galaxy International finals in the US at the end of July 2011.

The 'dream team' had a fab swimwear photo shoot with us and our official photgrapher Paul Carroll in the gorgeous Snowdonia National Park.



All the girls were fantastic and the pictures are gorgeous!  We'll be updating the blog next week. One of girls in particular stood out for us and we have asked her to model some of our new collections!  Miss Galaxy Wales and Model: Jamie-Lee Wiliams has a perfect look for Sandstorm Boutique and she will now be featured on our website: www.SandstormLuxury.com
